    Very nice quilt. You are right, it is always nice for new quilters to have a beginning project like yours.

    I also made that panel up into a baby quilt for a friend as I just loved it and thought it was darling. Our son came to visit with the 3 youngest grandsons (ages 5, 7&8) and they had a ball with the quilt. They spent several hours finding all the items starting with the letters in each block. It's not a cheater quilt....it's an adventure quilt. It's wonderful.

    I think this is a great way to make a baby quilt. AND you got it done ! I have 2 in the works that I have not gotten finished.

    Oh I was just looking at this panel or at least one very similar to it. Love it. Hey, everything doesn't have to be fully pieced to be a quilt. Great job.
