I love the backing on your door panel, that fabric is my favorite of all time! Oh, and I like the front, too!

What a fantastic idea!!! I have french doors right off the front door that go to our guest room and have thoe temporary pleated paper ones from Lowe's on there - for 11 years!! Just could not figure out what to do. My doors have mullions (not straight glass like yours) and was thinking about trying to work out making the blocks fit the separte panes (too much work???!!) Anyway - my big question is: how did you hang your piece? I can't really tell from the picture - looks kind of like clips or something. I hangs so nice and close to the glass.

    Thanks,
Sandy in Mooresville, NC (visiting in Kirkland, WA)

Sandy, I actually used a product called Command brand, Damage-Free Hanging. It is the plastic hooks that you stick to the wall and then it is removeable later. Know what I am talking about? I didnt want to drill any holes in the door and ruin them, so this was the best choice. Any way, I used two of the clear ones, and just used a couple of quilting pins (the ones that close and are curved) and it just hangs by them. I was going to put hoops made of fabric, but figured that is was so light anyway, I just did it this way.

Thank you everyone for your great comments. I will post a picture when I get another panel done for the Other door lol. It is going to be put on hold prolly till after Christmas. I have other quilt projects to do first lol...Never thought I would be one of the quilters that have multiply progects going at once LOL... But I am loving it

I forgot to mention, no it was not hard at all. I just measured the window area i wanted covered and made the blocks to fit.
