Simple Halloween Panel Wallhanging
In time for Halloween I finished quilting this simple wallhanging. It will be great to have for get-togethers later in the month, since it features a house and the words "Welcome". I like Halloween things that are not grossly graphic and scary.
I did straight quilting at the feature lines, which means there was a lot of turning of the whole quilt, but that is not too difficult on a small piece like this.

Very cute! If you are looking for a cute Halloween decorating idea, I saw one on Facebook that I love. I did not save the picture and I couldn't repost it anyway but it is very simple.
You take a tomato wire cone shaped frame and turn it upside down. You buy approx. 3 of the artificial tan grass skirts from the $ store and a black bowler hat. You fasten the grass skirts all the way around and up the frame. Place the black bowler hat on top and stick on a pair of dark sunglasses. COUSIN IT, from the Adam's Family.
