    Love your quilt! Could you tell me how you made your half square triangles? I have been trying different methods to make 5" finished and have not found one that works for me.Tried 8 at a time have easy angle and several others.I looked for the papers on Nancy's Notions but they only go up to 4".

    For these (4" finished) I cut two 5" squares, drew a diagonal line, sewed .25" on both sides of the line, cut them, pressed them open, and sliver trimmed to 4.5". For 5" finished, you would start with a 6" square.

    I like that you had a scrappy look but chose to use 4-patch in like pieces. Beautiful quilt. It is beyond me how you "lined up" the back squares to come out so nice with the stitching on the front.
