simply lap quilt in pink

I was asked to make a lap quilt. I was told to use what I had. Not to go out of my way and get new material. I had these extra 5 x 5 squares so I just sewed them in no order and this what I came up with. I still have to quilt it. [ATTACH=CONFIG]508018[/ATTACH]

Love the pretty bright colors! It makes me think of spring flowers. Whoever gets the lap quilt is a lucky person.

Sometimes pretty fabrics just need a simple pattern. Very pretty and cheerful.

It turned out really pretty in all those nice pinks and the greens look great with them.

I really like that. Sometimes it is best to just go with it instead of overthinking a pattern. It makes me think of spring flowers poking thru the new green grass.
