A cancer treatment center at a hospital would be a good choice. I used to crochet and I would donate
an afghan a yr for a child who was going thru treatments. They get colder than adults, the child the hospital chose died and the family had him wrapped in the afghan so he wouldn't get cold. I still shed a tear for him, but the ones who left the hospital with their gift meant the world to me.

another idea is to donate it to a foster child that is "aging out" of the system at age 18--frequently they leave foster care with nothing but the clothes on their back and need everything.

Would be a wonderful gift for a hospice patient. I have donated things to our county home. Most of the folks there have little or nothing.

Love your pond. No problem with the quilt someone has a hospital stay in their future and would love your quilt as a get well gift, just hang on to it and the right gift time will come.
