No there is no copyright in the book either. And there is a model number on the bottom of the machine, it is only 4 digits so when I went to the Singer site, all the numbers were much longer.

Super - you even have the box and manual. I had one with just the case and gave it away when I was in a purging mood several years ago. I'm very sorry about it now! I have a similar one I got on eBay, It came with 2 shuttles and 3 bobbins - I even figured out how to wind the bobbin on this one (which may have been the reason I gave the other one away.)

I love the fact that as Singer came out with the better newer machines they always had the toy for the kids that resembled their Moms machines. They are highly collectable and the fact that you have the box and all the stuff with it makes it just that much better!!! I am looking for the 500A and the Genie from the Early 70's for my collection.
Oh and a side note some of the machines had a really nice stitch to them and you could use it for a back up if you do not mind the chain stitch.......
