    Default Sirlankan Elephant Wall Hanging

This is an appliqué wall hanging to compliment a quilt (yet to be made as baby is coming in May) made using a purchased machine embroidery design.
The Mum to be is a very modern Mum and has chosen bright colours for the nursery based on her recent holidays with her partner to Sirlanka. It was fun to do, but it was very time consuming due to all the embellishment and colour changes.
I squared up the background and realised he wasn't centred, so I did the flower/balloon at the side to set the balance. I am not sure if it has worked really but it will stay anyway.

I wish I could get the edges more crisp. The bottom looks a bit wonky in the photo.

I absolutely love your elephant! I can see it must have been very time consuming with all the color changes, and the details. I don't think it looks wonky at all, it looks like that might be the photo, and not the quilt.
Great going! Can't wait to see the baby quilt! (Oh, lucky baby!)

very nicely done. i like the flower balloon... it seems that the elephant is staring at it wondering what it might be.
