    Please tell us your favorite method for making HSTs. There are so many in this beautiful quilt and I assume it took you weeks just to make them!

    I did the HSTs by cutting a square by using the size of the finished block + 7/8", placing the blue and white squares on top of each other and then sewing 1/4" on each side of the center line giving me two HSTs squares. Hope that explains it clearly.

    WOW! That is a huge amount of work! When I see that many HSTs, I shy away from the pattern, but they do make for an amazing quilt.
