    Default Sister's Christmas Tree Skirt

My sister is spending some time near us this year and asked us to share Thanksgiving with them. Her birthday is coming up soon also, so I wanted to make something nice for her. I gathered some fabrics from my stash and came up with this. Last year I'd made her a Thanksgiving table topper which she still loves, so I didn't want to do the same type of thing this year.

Do you remember the episode of Designing Women where Alice Ghostley(Bernice Clifton) got a tree skirt as a a gift from one of the gals and tried to WEAR it? she was relieved to hear it was for the tree as she knew it would NOT fit over her hips. she was pulling it up over her feet. It was CLASSIC!!

You made her a very nice simple tree skirt. I am sure she will enjoy this gift.

Very pretty, and so nice that it's reversible too.
