Colleen, how do you decide on fabrics? Did you say in some of your comments at other times that you use decorator fabrics as well?

This is also a great way to recycle. You keep inspiring me and I want to make my 3 grown girls purses, but am undecided as to what fabrics to pick for them. I know what I like, but I don't know if they will? How do you decide?

    Thank you,
    Susan

Are your bow tucks the large or the small ones? I noticed in a previous posting that you sell them. I've been making quite a few of the large ones as gifts. And I'm always told that I could sell them. How do you decide what price?

susan.. i just pick what inspires me at the time i guess or what i think might sell.
i use my daughter sometimes for an opinion or my dh helps as well.
for your girls.. what is in the house or bedroom color wise.. is it more stripes then florals..or more paisley and plain.. i kind of go from there as well. or you could have them look at fabric with you and not tell them what it is going to be.
i have found the black zebra went fast and the giraffe one i made 6 of them...

my bow tucks are for sale.. i sell them on etsy.com
you can go there and look if you like. my seller name is colleen5555. everyone charges different for what they want.. i just wanted a medium price that was not to high and something that most could afford if they wanted it.. i just finished three soccer bags.(going to post here after this) and i was contacted that one was sold already. so it just depends on who is looking for what.
