    Default Small Mystery Quilt

I joined a Small Quilt Group sponsored by author Kathleen Tracy this year. She started a mystery quilt just before Covid hit. While I am not a fan of mystery quilts (I find it hard to give up control of what is going where) I had a lot of fun with this. 95% of the fabrics used were leftovers from previous projects. I love the piecing - but have never been a fan of hand sewing, so once it was complete I put it on the longarm rather than hand quilting it. I am really pleased with the results. I will more than likely use it as a table topper on a small drop leaf table I have in the hallway..

No one would believe that it was a mystery quilt. Your choices of colors was just perfect. I like it!

Iuse to do a good number of mystery quilts back in the day. Once I hit one that did not have good instructions I stopped. This one however is very nice indeed! You did a great job on it. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks everyone! - Barb - truth be told ... I did have to go back after the fact and redo one block that looked terrible with the others. A lot of the fabrics were leftover from my huge Marcus Fabric Latimer Farms BOM Quilt so they were all from one line of fabric which helps.
