I've been making things for GK's school. The TATW center 1.5 squares were given to me by a guild friend--her leftovers. The cheater squares in the table runner were leftovers, too. This is the 4th item I made from the Holly Taylor fabric!

TATW 1 finished sq. 22 sq

What is a "cheater square"? I recently submitted a quilt to a benefit auction, and they asked if cheater fabrics were used. Seems to me that what you are using are "fussy cuts", and I'm not sure how that's cheating. I'm pretty new to quilting and probably don't have the lingo down yet.

A Cheater is where the design is printed on the fabric. I call this a cheater because the berries etc were not sewn on the square. Other views of this fabric is in this thread. These "squares" were printed on black fabric.
