I can feel why you will keep this one, beautiful! The colors are jewel like and reminds me of a woven rug. Very lovely, you do beautiful work

Actually, I send it to a store in Iowa (family business) and they have it hand quilted. They are backed up right now, so it could a couple months before it's done.

Thanks for the reply - I thought they were always long arm quilted when sending the quilt out to be quilted. Learn something new every day! Enjoy your beautiful quilt when you get it back.

Here's another top I pieced this fall. This one's a keeper (unless it goes to one of the children). I'm planning on having the dark Stonehenge stars quilted point to point, and going through the centers of the dark squares (including the star centers). As far as the light rectangles and squares, and the sashing goes, I'm open to suggestions. This will be hand quilted.
