    Tartan, you did a beautiful job. The quiet colors you picked are perfect. Maybe they can be featured in a sampler.

    Nice save, Tartan! I'm happy to see that I'm not the only one who didn't like how Jenny's block turns out. Quick is not always better.

    I think I'm going to use the snail trail pattern for some square pillows for fall but plan to do a mashup of Jenny's technique for the inner 4 patch, but use this method https://youtu.be/gkIu-HnS_oQ for the rest, half square triangles instead of sewing triangles on-seems simpler to me any way.

    I agree - trimming to the 1/4" seam allowance would require way too much waste for me.
