    Default Snail trail block

    I wanted to try Jenny's block but didn't want the little stuck out corners hers had. I started with 2 10 inch squares and trimmed each round to the 1/4 inch seam allowances. Here is my block with the last round on and you can see for it to be a regular Snail Trail block I would still need to trim all sides down to the 1/4 inch seam allowance. This will give me 2 blocks about 6-1/2 inches. I will not be doing a quilt in this method but a couple of blocks was fine.[ATTACH=CONFIG]575700[/ATTACH]

    Yes, it seems like quite a waste of fabric. I much prefer the monkey wrench block from Quilterscache. Sometimes 'easier' ends up being more expensive.
