    I always LOVE your work and save pictures to inspire me. I'm new to quilting and think the quilting is as important as the piecing, so I have been struggling away on my DSM- thank goodness it has a decent throat space!!

    When you use two layers of batting do they just stay together without shifting? Do you float your top and batting? I'm determined this year to vastly improve my LA skills which at this point consist of loops and easy meanders. I take all pointers I can get. No plans to quilt for others, just me.
