a sneak peak at my new lone star in progress

I decided to make a new Lone star quilt (one of my favorite go-to patterns, because they are so versatile )
I had the first 4 *arms* together when I set It aside to work on 3 kids quilts for a Christmas package---so, now, back at it

it is an old (1995) Karen Stone pattern called 'An Unusual Lone star'

Very unusual. Is it paper pieced? It is going to be spectacular!

Yes, it is paper pieced.

That is going to be lovely! I like how the centers will be dark blue and the blue will radiate out getting lighter! I am looking forward to seeing it finished.
