Yippee Elle! I'm excited about your tut! It is very timely for me since I have my project shelved because I got scared of the applique that I wanted to do on it. I'm soooo glad you are going to help me get it back out to finish it!

I promise!! However a camel ride is a wild experience to have. Just don't get too close to them face on.. they like to spit!! and they STINK!!!!!!

As for the $1,000,000 Turkish Lira... umm to confess, that is really only about $100 CDN!!! but the 1 million sure does sound like a whole lotta money doesn't it!!! It is really cheap over there!! I remember when I went I took $500 spending money with me. I bought alot of stuff and of course different meals and bus tickets along the way... I also bought a bus ticket for a six hour drive from Istanbul to Ankara out of that $500. I came home with about $200!!!

I donīt mind riding a Camel, just donīt take the Camel home and leave me there. You say they stink, so I am probably safe then. You promise not to sell me okay..... on second thought you would probably have to pay him to take me of your hands..... LOL

I know it is cheap there, have friends there so no hotel bills.

Yippie, I've done a little applique, but I'm always worried about how it will hold up over time.

Don't forget to give us a class list so we can be organized, will we need much?

the applique is a couple of pieces from the quilt, but I canīt do it all because there are DESIGNERS RIGHTS on it, you wonīt need much, its just to give those confidence in doing it. Fabric is minimal only small pieces. I will post when I get permission. Okay

Well I started last September 2007, however I have made inbetween, 1 baby quilt and 3 wall hangings and 2 totes, got fed up with it and then started again, so canīt really say for sure.

Thank you for your kind comments.
