    I looked at your tutorial and when I tried to reply it says it is locked! So I'll tell you here thank you!

    I do have a question. If you use a blanket stitch can you wash it without worrying about the edges unraveling?

    Celeste, Yes you can wash without fear. I tried when I first used this type of work and with trepidation I washed my Japanese Lady. No movement whatsoever and no fraying either.

    thanks so much for the tutorial!!! I bookmarked it. I am curious to know if there was a pattern for the full size quilt or if this was from various applique patterns you had?

    Glad the Tute was okay. No it was a pattern but the original was in brown and cream and this is for my daughter who loves green, so the background and sashings kind of sets it all of.
