Riley, That actually did come from Hobby Lobby, but I bought it several years ago. I usually have quite a bit of muslin on hand. I went back to Hobby Lobby a week or so ago to get some more muslin for a quilt back and it was so thin that I didnt buy it. Sure was different than what I had before!!!
I havent looked for any on line cause I always thought Hobby Lobby would still have the good stuff! How much are you needing? I still have several good size pieces of unbleached, nothing big enough for a back tho.

I used to always use the Hobby Lobby Roc-Lon & was very shocked at how thin this was when DGD brought it in. (She does not quilt so she did not know?) I used to buy a bolt on sale. ( & that was 60 yards at that time--I just like the look with some of the repos!)

You are very sweet to ask but you hang on to what you have! You may not replace it with any thing worth having?

I wonder if anyone has ordered some online with good results??
    Ladies, please?

TIA & a very special thank you to you for offering me some of yours! I will just keep admiring your C/W & anxiously wait for your quilting!

(I am quilting on the Sunbonnet Sues, incidently---if you recall that one I posted after making it? It is in the frame & I am still loving it!)

Riley, who thinks the quilt is still FABULOUS!!! :) Thanks again!!!

There are a couple of sites that will send free swatches, (if I can remember which ones they are)

Melissa, I love your quilt. It's so pretty. I love things set on point, though I don't really know how to do it very well. Going along with the last bit of this thread, wouldn't it be nice if fabric came with a weight like paper does so you could judge a little better when you want to buy fabric online. Anyway, love your quilt and can't wait to see it the final product!

Thank you, Melissa!!! That is very sweet of you to go to the trouble of looking online for me.
Note the count---do you think, as a hand quilter(which I am also) that would be hard to stick & stab (quilt) a needle through that count?
    I wonder...... hmmmmmm????

I like it better with the border, too. It's very pretty either way though.

I wish I knew what thread count was on the others I have used! I might just have to order some and see what this is like!
