Here is an update! I have the top fully pieced. It is a pattern from "Batiks: Inspired from Bali." Great book!

I'm going to baste it tomorrow. I purposefully made it more LONG than anything since my dad is lanky. :)

All four of my babies had to be in the picture to "help."

Great quilt! Love all of your little inspectors. Are you sure you're gonna be able to get it away from them to give to your dad??

I love the colors. You dad will love it. I have a 99 year old MIL and I think I will make her one! What is the pattern and is it easy?

Batiks are so perfect for this lap top, they are so interesting to look at on thier own. He is going to love it!

To get off the subject just a little, do you play those instruments in the background? I love music in the home.

And I have to say how I just love that black and white kitty with the glowing green eyes.
Edited to ask how many kitties do you have?
