Default Snoe Days Flimsy (Crab Apple Hill)

It took awhile to embroidery the white blocks as I usually worked on them in front of the TV, but the flimsy is assembled now. There are spots where the embroidery travels into either the quilt blocks or links scenes together so that's more TV work . I'm debating whether to hand quilt this. There are a lot of corners were 5 and more fabrics meet.......I'll have to think about that.

Lovely top! I love Crabapple Hill patterns. If you enjoy hand quilting, that would be a nice way to finish it.

Love the Japanese taupe fabrics in this to give it such a soft lovely look in neutrals. If it helps any for quilting inspiration, here is a picture of one already quilted up. This was taken at MQX 2016. Unfortunately I can't credit the maker as I stupidly forgot to take a close up of the card. The quilter outlined the major embroidery motifs and filled in with a tight back and forth line fill. It was very effective.

Thanks for the picture. It's always nice to see how other people quilt what you're working on.

Love your quilt. Yes, hand quilt it. I did the Over the River and I think it would have looked better hand quilted. Had it custom quilted. It looks nice but would have looked better hand quilted.
