Snow People

Thank you for all your kind comments - we obviously all love snowman (and quilting). Someone commented on my location. I'm in the moutains just south of the center of California. We're at 4000 feet and get snow several times a year. Today it's only supposed to reach a high of 38 degrees. I am substitute teaching 1st grade today. Hope I don't have yard duty!!!

I, too, love snowmen. Last year when we had snow our tenants who live downstairs built a snowman. Then my husband went out and dressed it in his Green Bay Packers items - hat, gloves, scarf, etc. We live in Greenville, SC, so we don't get a lot of snow here, usually only a couple of times a year, then it usually only lasts a few days to a week, depending on the temperature. That one was a treat.

I just noticed your post that you are from Tehachapi. I used to live in Lancaster, Palmdale and California City and we went to church in Tehachapi. In fact I lived in Lancaster in 1952 during the Tehachapi earthquake and have some real memories of that.
