That is the prettiest "black and white" quilt I have ever seen. Your prairie points are perfect. You do beautiful work.

Your quilt is beautiful!! I have wanted to do a feathered star pattern for years. It has always been on my "to do" list. I'm fairly accomplished in my quilting but I am still afraid of this one. How hard was it?

This pattern was from creataive scraps "quilting with bits & pieces - 67 beautiful quilts to enjoy - house of white birches page 123, design by Barbara Clayton - I added the praries points. It was an "intermediate" - I would agree - got frustrated and put it up then pulled it back out. The "star" itself is approxiamtely 10 1/2x 10 1/2. The block is about 15 inches. Hope I can post the full pictures now. Thanks for all the nice comments.

What a beautiful block - fantastic quilting job. I agree - please keep any snow or snow flakes away from me - I live in FL - this winter has been cold enough here without any snow.

Hope you haave a greyt day

What a beautiful quilt. But you can keep the snow. I live in Idaho and we are having almost a record warm winter and I love it without the snow and ice.
