Have to share this... We lived in lower BC, near Vancouver until I was 6 yrs old, when we moved to Manitoba I had no friends yet and was bored. My Mom told me to go outside and make a snowman, I was shocked and said "Snowmen aren't real" I was convinced that it was impossible because we only had dirty slush where we had lived before. I had heard the story of Frosty the Snowman and didn't believe in the Easter Bunny or Santa so how could snowmen be real????

My Mom had to come out and show me how it was done Then it was a favorite thing to do and I wanted to make snowmen even when the snow was so dry and fluffy it wouldn't stick together.
