    Thanks for all the lovely comments. To answer some of the questions. I don't know what this applique method is called. I used to do needle turn but my eye sight can't do that anymore so I do the method where you turn the edges over the template and iron down using starch brushed on. Then using a very, very small bead of Elmers School glue, glue it down in place. Then all you have to do is sew in place. These blocks are all glued but not sewn. Yes the theme is a Cat call Snowy. Hope this helps.

    Love the quilt. It's gorgeous. Needleturn used to mean you turned the edges under with a needle, now it just means you hand sew the edges down for the most part .

    very nice patterns. Is glueing enough to hold the pieces or do you quilt them afterwards?

    The glue washes out. After gluing I sew them done, the glue just holds them in place until sewn.
