I am a new quilter and used a template for the first time, it made cutting so easy. This quilt went together very quickly. And there was no need for me to be worried about sewing curves.

My husband and teenage boys asked for a quilt for the basement "man cave". It does get chilly down there in the winter, so I used fleece for the backing.

The quilt was made with 20 batik fat quarters.

I love it, what pattern did you use?

I've always been so intimidated by curves, but would love to try it.
