    Those first two look great. I still have trouble with paper piecing but I haven't given up on it yet. Some day I will master it.

    Enjoy your mug rug. It turned out great! I have a tip for you: I always spray a bit of fabric protector (scotch guard is one brand) on my place mats with light fabrics. It keeps the ugly stains away!

    Great start, once you feel comfortable with the method, it is really lots of fun! Keep going...doesn't take long to get to the expert level!
