    I think the judges just weren't thinking....you should have gotten a blue ribbon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Thank you so much for all of the nice compliments! It means a lot to me coming from experienced quilters as you all know what we put into our quilts that non-quilters don't know. The effort, the love, the expression, creativity, etc. :-P

    Is that the Hunter's Star pattern that suzic46 posted earlier? It sure makes a nice quilt. Congratulations on the high score. Where did you get your pattern?

    The patterns came from Brenda Henning out of Alaska. This is the first Hunter's Star I did, 9" blocks. The second one I posted earlier and is 6" blocks. The pattern came with instructions for both sizes.

    Great quilt, I am not sure what they are looking for when marking, but love the quilt. Blue ribbon quality for sure!

    I think it's a beautiful quilt and you did an awesome job on it.
    Blue ribbon or not.....you were brave enough to enter the quilt and that's a blue ribbon winner to me!!!
