It certainly isn't my taste but I would not consider it ugly. Please finish it and donate it to some worthy organization. I am sure that it will give comfort to someone and be loved. You also could donate the top to any quilt guild whom makes comfort quilts. I'm sure it would be loved by the recipient.

Where's the ugly quilt? You must have posted the wrong pic. Like Ontheriver I was expecting some sort of hideous thing, (I also have a wierd fascination with those... in fact, I bought a vintage truly UGLY quilt off Ebay years ago, and I use it every night... I love it! LOL) and there is a cute patchwork quilt. Pfffft. False advertising, my friend!

I've made several that I ended up not liking, but other people look at them and like them. I think we just get tired of looking at them. I'm getting better at choosing the fabrics, and using a combination of light and dark fabrics.

I am so disappointed. LOL I clicked on this thread expecting to see an ugly quilt, like a fascination for a train wreck ya know, and instead I find a wonderful, fun quilt full of beautiful rich color. It most definitely needs to be finished, but it doesn't need to be you if it won't make you happy to work on it. Maybe take a break from it and work on something else, or pass it along to someone else to finish.
