so ugly that I may not finish it

They say beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I love this quilt, I like the bold colors. If you don't like it, put it up for sale on the board, someone will buy it. Sometimes I don't care for the quilt I am making so I set it aside and when I go back to it, I like it. I made a quilt last year for my DD and I didn't care for it, but everyone else loved it. Good Luck.

Really no quilt is ever ugly. finish it and if you still don't like it donate it to a shelter or give it away, or raffle it off at the kids school to raise money. I like it. It looks so warm.
Never ugly just not to your liking, someone will like it.

It is sort of ugly but you know.......beauty is in the eye of the beholder! I'd finish it. Either donate it or use it as a pick nick quilt. If you live in a cold climate it's handy to keep a warm blanket in your trunk.

I have another idea, although, I agree, nothing wrong with it the way it is! But how about using it on the back side, & do something else easy for the top, even a cute baby quilt panel or something? That might work. It was just a thought as I was looking at your lovely work. But do finish, it's not ugly, by any means!...

Ugly? NOT AT ALL! This is a terrific quilt! By all means, finish it. It's very homespun and looks very comforting. I can't imagine who wouldn't like this quilt!
Would be a great quilt for men or boys...

Its not ugly at all. But if you feel that way, try to quilt it out. I forced myself to finish a project I screwed up and after it was quilte, wasn't so bad. That scrunchy quilty texture can make the ugliest of uglies pretty.
