    I agree 100%. I stopped buying patterns and magazines and started doing my own. There are tons of free patterns on the computer.

    I love all your quilts! I seldom use an actual pattern for a quilt I make.
    I did order the Japanese fan quilt with paper piecing sheets the other day. I just couldn't resist that one, but I will make it my own!
    I think the great thing about quilting is being able to create something that speaks to you...... :D :thumbup:

    I LOVE the black and white one. I love the fact that you backed it with red fabric with a pattern on it. Sometimes just the simple little things make a huge difference. I might even try a quilt just like that. You did a fantastic job!! Thanks for sharing. :D

    Good for you! I agree with you completely! I really like all the quilts you shared with us, but particularly the black and white one.

    What you said. I love your quilts. You have a great sense of color. IMHO, I especially cannot understand buying quilt kits that give you everything already pre-determined. It's like buying a recipe and all the ingredients. Variety IS the spice of life. Thanks for posting these lovely quilts.
