Thank you for posting these pictures. Wish I could go to more quilt shows but there aren't very many in my area. Looking at quilt show pictures on this board is the next best thing to being there! Checking out the photos that board members post is my favorite part of the quilting board.

Thank you so much for taking us to your show!! What a talented group of quilters you have in the guilds of your area. So many wonderful and innovative quilts. I sure don't envy the judges having to pick winners out of all of those amazing quilts. The retro modern one was a gas and I guess I am at that certain age. I can remember when all those things were all the rage. The maker nailed it in both design and colors. Loved the La Pass quilt with all the beautiful applique vine and leaves in the border. I don't think I have ever seen a La Pass finished that way and it adds a lot, IMHO. That chicken quilt was fabulous as was the folk artsy Christmas Applique. Sooooo much eye candy and we can never have too many pictures of quilts!

It was a great show! I looked, and looked, and looked, but could not pick out a favorite. Sooo much talent. Loved the color combinations! Some new to me patterns! I certainly enjoyed looking at them again. Thank you, Nancy!!

Quiltingshorttimer,
In answer to your question about the ballroom, I can believe that they didn't get much traffic. I had a map and would not have gone in there if two booths(YLI & can't remember the other) were not in there, and once I went I did not stay long; it was the end of the day and I was tired so we kind of did a quick walk thru. As for the raffle, I don't know; with so many choices and want to be fair to all, if you don't pick a favorite, and filling out all the tickets????
I just don't know.
