Gee, everything is written in English... no Espanol? Is that "blackwork" I see on the Grace's Room Designs? Everything looks wonderful, tell us more about your Guild, or Club... the sponsors, where you meet, etc.

The quilts are beautiful. Looks like you have a great group of gals in your circle. The silk cacoons and silk remind me of the spinning and weaving guild I use to belong to. I use to spin it on my spinning wheel and would knit it into scarves.

Well thats because we are all English , retired here and living permanently in Spain, although we do have a few who only come for 3 to 6 months each year.

Here is the link to our web site I think you will find it interesting

BTW we do speak Spanish. We have asked our Spanish friends to join our club but they want us to open in the evening and most of us come from quite a long way away I travel 21 Kms there, some travel an hour by car. Anyway they all cook for their husbands during the day and canīt come day time.

Each year we raffle a quilt for the local orphanage which is greatly appreciated.

I donīt think thats blackwork, I thought blackwork was all black, its extremely small cross stitch on 20 canvas.
