    All I did was make a length attach wadding and backing ,sew together around the edges ,fold into an envelope attach the binding then sew into the finished shape then added either the button or popper fastening. Hope this helps. As I said they were just scraps (from my avatar quilt) no wider than 2.5 ins and no longer than 16 ins .

    Love your work...especially the last one...I think you will like it better once the binding goes on, it will frame it beautifully.
