These are exquisite...thank you for sharing your gallery of minis. If they were mine I would frame them and have a whole wall full. If you used one wall in a dining room as a feature it would be a really interesting conversation starter when entertaining.

We call the stitch on the dollhouse quilt bullion stitch - when you make it into the rose pattern they are called "grub roses"...doesn't sound very glamorous, but they look pretty.

Thank you for showing us your minis, and all the info about them. They are so beautiful, you really should make a display area for them. I want to do some, as like a few other people here I am running out of space....
All the subjects are lovely, and the Mariners Compass is quite stunning.

I love your birdhouse quilt! I have 14 feeders and love to watch my feathered friends. You may have inspired my next project.

Brazalianembroidery is where you build a base with embroidery thread and then embroider your flowers on top to make it 3 deminsional. I need to learn it as it would be a good travel project. There is a store in the area that has a rotation of classes teaching this, crosstitch, and many other types of embroidery, including ribbon embroidery. For awhile, I was trying to learn many techniques and was buying kits from someone in WA who went outof business. But the kits taught me how to do various embriodery methods. Now that many have embriodery machines, it all has become a lost art. I remember my mother doing pulled thread table mats. Simple and elegant. Maybe I willget back to this. Not that I don't have many projects on my "to do" list. lol
Did you use ribbon embroidery on the doll quilt?

I'm not sure what Brazilian embroidery is...these are stitches I learned in school when I took dressmaking. We put the roses on little girls smocked dresses.
