Hi! Thanks for all the nice comments! Since a couple people seem to especially like the middle quilt, I will tell you that I saw this quilt demonstrated on an episode of Fons & Porter last year. The episode number was 1303. It is called Diamond Leaves and was designed by John Wilcox. I went to their website & found out the pattern was in Fon & Porter Easy Quilts Fall of 2008. I bought a back issue and the rest is history. It was a fun (and easy)quilt to make and I'm happy with the way it turned out.

I love them all, especially your son's college quilt.

Thanks! I am from SE PA - a surburb of Phila. The log cabin design is called "Ice Crystals" designed by Betty Alderman. I found it in an American Patchwork & Quilting Calender for 2005. It was January's quilt. I really enjoyed making it, especially picking out the fabrics (one of my favorite parts of quilting!)
    Have a great Labor Day!

Love all of your quilts. I would love to do a log cabin, but I have a rough time picking out colors so have not tried it yet. Yours is beautiful and the colors are perfect. The one for your son is just perfect for a college dorm room. Would you mind sharing the name of the pattern?
