Default Pattern: Garden Fence Text and Pictures below.

    Garden Fence
    <o></o>

    I first played with this block lastSummer when I was inspired by the pillows on the cover of Martha StewartLiving. Shannon from Pieceful Quilter namedit "Garden Fence" and the name stuck. Well, my top's finally done andI'm happy with the color combination of golds, yellows, grays and white. (howdo you spell gray - grey or gray?)<v:shapetype id="_x0000_t75" stroked="f" filled="f" path="m@4@5l@4@11@9@11@9@5xe" oreferrelative="t" o:spt="75" coordsize="21600,21600"> <v:stroke joinstyle="miter"> <v:formulas> <v:f eqn="if lineDrawn pixelLineWidth 0"> <v:f eqn="sum @0 1 0"> <v:f eqn="sum 0 0 @1"> <v:f eqn="prod @2 1 2"> <v:f eqn="prod @3 21600 pixelWidth"> <v:f eqn="prod @3 21600 pixelHeight"> <v:f eqn="sum @0 0 1"> <v:f eqn="prod @6 1 2"> <v:f eqn="prod @7 21600 pixelWidth"> <v:f eqn="sum @8 21600 0"> <v:f eqn="prod @7 21600 pixelHeight"> <v:f eqn="sum @10 21600 0"> </v:f></v:f></v:f></v:f></v:f></v:f></v:f></v:f></v:f></v:f></v:f></v:f></v:formulas> <vath o:connecttype="rect" gradientshapeok="t" o:extrusionok="f"> <o:lock aspectratio="t" v:ext="edit"></o:lock></vath></v:stroke></v:shapetype><v:shape style="width: 300pt; height: 201pt; visibility: visible; mso-wrap-style: square;" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5561351676768094178" type="#_x0000_t75" o:button="t" href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_zHzGyXf_-8E/TS3j4nzJB-I/AAAAAAAAA_4/8-3VvOZZ6aQ/s1600/DSC_2610.jpg" alt="Description: http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_zHzGyXf_-8E/TS3j4nzJB-I/AAAAAAAAA_4/8-3VvOZZ6aQ/s400/DSC_2610.jpg" o:spid="_x0000_i1028"> <v:fill o:detectmouseclick="t"> <v:imagedata o:title="DSC_2610" src="file:///C:\Users\Evelyn\AppData\Local\Temp\msohtmlclip1\01 \clip_image001.jpg"></v:imagedata></v:fill></v:shape><o></o>
    This cold weather and snow is continuing to ruin my photography,so here's the best I can do. (And it requires moving furniture). <v:shape style="width: 300pt; height: 201pt; visibility: visible; mso-wrap-style: square;" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5561351665421406338" type="#_x0000_t75" o:button="t" href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_zHzGyXf_-8E/TS3j39h4UII/AAAAAAAAA_o/qQZ5g5g0eVQ/s1600/DSC_2605.jpg" alt="Description: http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_zHzGyXf_-8E/TS3j39h4UII/AAAAAAAAA_o/qQZ5g5g0eVQ/s400/DSC_2605.jpg" o:spid="_x0000_i1027"><v:fill o:detectmouseclick="t"> <v:imagedata o:title="DSC_2605" src="file:///C:\Users\Evelyn\AppData\Local\Temp\msohtmlclip1\01 \clip_image002.jpg"></v:imagedata></v:fill></v:shape><o></o>
It's a super easy quilt to make and I think it would be awesomein lots of color combinations (Gray and pink, gray and aqua...)
    <v:shape style="width: 300pt; height: 254.25pt; visibility: visible; mso-wrap-style: square;" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5561351658140546962" type="#_x0000_t75" o:button="t" href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_zHzGyXf_-8E/TS3j3iZ_N5I/AAAAAAAAA_g/SmLASVL90tA/s1600/DSC_2611.jpg" alt="Description: http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_zHzGyXf_-8E/TS3j3iZ_N5I/AAAAAAAAA_g/SmLASVL90tA/s400/DSC_2611.jpg" o:spid="_x0000_i1026"> <v:fill o:detectmouseclick="t"> <v:imagedata o:title="DSC_2611" src="file:///C:\Users\Evelyn\AppData\Local\Temp\msohtmlclip1\01 \clip_image003.jpg"></v:imagedata></v:fill></v:shape><o></o>

    White: 2 - 1 1/2" x4 1/2"; 2 - 1 1/2" x 6 1/2"; and 4 - 1 1/2" x 2 1/2"

    • Sew the white 4 1/2" and 6 1/2" rectangles to opposite sides of the center square.<o></o>
    • Sew the white 2 1/2" rectangles between 2 outer rectangles; add these to the center pieced square.I simply added 1" finished (1 1/2" unfinished) white strips for sashing. Easy! Easy!<o></o>

My cat was laying on the bed before I deceided to take picture of the frog quilt. The dog also followed me upstairs, so that is why the cat looks that way. She's really a very sweet kitty, just doesn't like the dog, or other people (she's a one-person cat).
