(The fabric was given to me. I have to admit that it grows on you after a while, but really, ...it wasn't my preference in either fabric, or colors or design).

Beautiful quilts and people! I know the quilts will help keep them warm. Hope you also enjoyed your trip with husband to Kenya. Do you have any pictures that you can share from your Kenya trip even though it wasn't to deliver quilts there?

Maybe we need to make some fast quilts and tie them, since it takes so long to quilt. I know there are some on the QB who will not tie quilts and do not want to call them "quilts", but look at that little girl's reaction--her grip on that quilt!!
There are always people, even here in TX, who can benefit from quilts we make and donate. There are our "art quilts," but we need to keep in mind there those who are needy--needing to chase away the cold and needing to have something tangible to hold on to!

What a great group of people with their quilts. Nice to share those photos. I too make lots of quilts, and it so rewarding. Most of mine go to Easter Seals, where they are given anonymously, and that is fine. I get some nice notes from the Easter Seals folks, saying how much the kids love them. It is such an easy thing to make and give, isn't it? Great job, beautiful quilts!
