    Did you add batting or quilt the receiving blanket? I made one so far and screwed up one also (messed up the corners). I was able to save the fabric and do a simple rag edged blanket.

    Dang! I have to make a baby blanket and have the fabric and pattern all picked out. I wonder if I can do the self binding on a regular baby blanket? I don't care for binding and this would be perfect for me. I could even try to "quilt" it myself.
