    Sorry from your dad. A very big cyberhug for you.
    My dad passed away a few years ago. But I didn't finished his little memoryquilt because it is to difficult to work on it.

    Thanks for the hugs and condolences' and thank you for the kudos.

    Putting together this wall hanging was therapy. I remember when at rehab with Dad, he was looking at the months that were completed. He said that I am a very good sewer. I have made the folks quilts over the years and Dad is always impressed. He has done woodwork projects, so he understands craftsmanship. Having him see my passion and truly appreciate the work I (WE) put in, make my heart feel warm. But it also breaks that I will not be able to share it with him any more.

    Your quilt is beautiful. I'm sorry about your father...such a sad loss. I hope you find some comfort in your good memories with him.

    So sorry about your Dad. My best friend lost hers recently too. I love the quilt. There is certainly something to be said for redwork done by hand versus the machine redwork that I have done recently. The blocks are gorgeous!
