Soo pretty - I bet she used poly so it would never fade. The colors all look bright and crisp.

    Hi:
I truly hope the grandchildren who receive these gorgeous works of art know how special they are and that they need to take VERY GOOD care of them for their own grandchildren...true heirlooms.

    Thanks for sharing.

Well, I know they will be very appreciative....especially one! There were 9 altogether...8 she hadn't finished....my sister brought over the finished one today and I cannot (repeat CANNOT) match what she did for the binding on this quilt! I'm NOT that talented! And I didn't get a chance to get a photo of it today...will try tomorrow...and then you will see what I mean! Oh my! She didn't teach me EVERYTHING she knows! She kept some of it a secret!

Were you able to get pictures of the finished quilt and photos of the others?

Years ago my MIL made many polyester quilts and you talk about lasting and taking use well. These quilts will last a very long time. Polester was cheap and wide so it was used a lot. I have one she did that was alll small hexagans.
