Somewhere Over the Rainbow baby quilt
This quilt was a fun one to make using 10" and 5" squares. I used the fold and sew technique found at the following link. The end of the video shows the block I made in this quilt. (10) Fold and Sew Quilts | National Quilters Circle - YouTube
I used Minky backing and folded it to the front for the binding. The centers of the blocks have different shapes. I traced around cookie cutters for most of the shapes.
I had the 10" squares from Lewis and Irene fabric line and combined them with a variety of my 5" charm squares. Because it is so colorful I gave the quilt the name, Somewhere over the rainbow.

Sweet! I love the dimensional flow of this quilt. The little one who gets this one is a lucky baby. It does remind me of being over a rainbow. So much sunshine and the quilted centers are precious.
