    Great work of heart (art)! Don't forget your label. I like the 3" sashing. Did you use a specific tute for your QAYG?

    Great quilt-your son will love it. I really like plaids for guy quilts.
    I have been pondering taking a try at QAYG, but the methods I have found include sashing on the back. I really like your one piece backing. Did you baste it to your completed top and then do additional quilting?

    What a great remembrance for your son! I wish I had been quilting when my stepdad passed....I would have LOVED to have done this.
