    Default Sort-of Dresden plate quarters

My guild was given a bunch of Dresden quarter blocks that were not the same size, in either blade width or length of blade. I made a template of what would be one quarter of a Dresden plate, trimmed the blocks, and made the tops with blocks from my 3.5" scrappy block box. The bottom one, I filled in with some smaller Dresdens I made to fill the space. Both are about 40" x 55" and are for charity. Thanks for looking.

Thanks, Nancy. Didn't know what else to do with them.

Always glad to see what other quilters come up with for scrappy blocks. Both quilts are very pretty but I think I like #1 the best.

I love to see orphan blocks re-purposed. You made two beautiful quilts out of these.
