    Is this what is termed 'organised or controlled scrappy' it is very pretty, how will you quilt it?

    Ok, you officially have me going bonkers here. I see the block, but if it is constructed the way I see, then there are a lot of....hmmm..are they called Y seams? Where you sew 3/4 way to the end then add the next strip sew almost to the end, etc, then go back and finish..then...HELP! Ya gotta put me out of my misery and walk me through it Please! :roll:

    This is just a great scrappy quilt. I'd also like to know if you used 2 1/2" squares or 3 1/2" squares to start? Did your blocks finish at 8 1/2" or 12 1/2" or would it even matter? This is probably just quilter's personal choice. The photograph is good but doesn't really tell me the measurements. I can see this working really well for all those bits and pieces that quilters accumulate. Thank-you for sharing.
