Southwest / Ricky Tims style backround
#1
My brother lives in Arizona and I wanted to make him a wall hanging that would fit in with his decorating style. What I came up with was inspired by rusted metal wall art I saw some time ago. I used both raw and turned edge applique along with a variation of Ricky Tims convergence quilts for the backround. Free motion work finished it off.

VERY nice!! You should ask your brother if you could borrow it to enter into a few shows.
I don't know about the rest of you, but when I first saw it I heard the whistle music from "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly".
