Go for it with your crumbs. I made some recently but mine were done with straight lines. Sashing crumb blocks can bring all the spazzy blocks together. Here's a photo of a small quilt I made with leftover crumbs. May in Jersey

May, that's nice. My pieces are so varied that I needed to do all angles. Glad you shared.

When you get this all put together and quilted, I bet you'll be amazed at how pretty it is! Each quilt seems to take on a life of its own and dictate what it needs next. You'll get this figured out, and you'll have a spectacular quilt when you're done!

So what I'm hearing from fellow quilters who understand, is that my DH doesn't understand. What's spazzy to him is art to us. Most of all, it keeps me busy and thrifty. I sew in the laundry room, and as I pass by I want to sew "just one more. . .". Addictive behavior

I love 'em!! And as for the "man" comment, I'm sure she was referring to men who don't quilt - anyone who calls a block "spazzy" isn't a quilter, so of course we can say "men, what do they know!"

What would happen if you set them on point and used a neutral in the side triangles--then a 2 -3 inch border of crumbs?
