Mikey likes it and I bet hubby will too once he sleeps under it.

He'll come around. Besides, it is your creative outlet and we can't let the naysayers get us down.

Aw, what do husbands know anyway!

If we listened to them, just think how full the house would be with tools, computers and electronics instead of beautiful, useful, wonderful, lovely fabric bits and pieces... :D

96 spazzy blocks later. I now have plenty for a quilt. A big quilt. My next plan is to arrange them in shadded color families. I'll have to pin them to an old sheet because my Gracie will certainly have her own opinions about rearranging them. I have enough to make a little back-art also. But most of all, My scrap bag is soooooo empty! Gotta pick a background color now too.

But if any of you are thinking about a crumb, be aware that it is VERY addictive!!

Gracie has her favorite one. She sat by me for sewing almost every one!

Wow Sara - I missed this thread first time round but I LOVE your Spazzy Jazzy blocks! :D

I used the tute on here to make some a while back to make matching cushion covers for our bed - to match the quilt that isn't finished yet! They ARE fun and addictive and I'd love to do a whole quilt with them some day. Can't wait to see yours pieced - what colour sashing will you use? And has hubby eaten his words yet?

Yes, I think I"ll put a border/sashing around them. Am thinking of a neutral grayish green. Our bedroom is tan/greens, lots of nature pictures. That way my wonderful hunney will GET to sleep under it. He is finally saying they are not so bad, but he is the one who named them spazzy.

I like them and can't wait to see the finished quilt. It's a great idea.
